Our tour starts in the Jewish Quarter that is located in the 7th district in Budapest. With your private guide, you will explore several attractions and the synagogues while walking through the historic streets of the Jewish Quarter and witnessing the rich history of the Hungarian Jewish Heritage.

On this tour you can discover the history of the Hungarian Jewish Community and start with visiting Dohány Street Synagogue, also known as The Great Synagogue, the second biggest synagogue in the world, the largest synagogue in Europe. We spend 50 minutes while enjoying the Jewish architecture. The synagogue is still used by Budapest's Jewish community. If you are lucky, you can go to the Budapest Klezmer Band Concert in the synagogue in your visit in Budapest. You have a guided tour and have the possibility to visit the Heroes' Temple, Holocaust Cemetery, The Tree of Life, The Raoul Wallenberg Memorial Park and The Jewish Museum.

We have a break in a charming Jewish café with an offer of a drink and a great tasting Hungarian Jewish cake. After that, we walk through the cosy and narrow streets of the district, by visiting the Rumbach Street Synagogue that is a museum and Orthodox Kazinczy street Synagogue that is a school for Judaic studies.

Few years ago Colorful City project enhanced the city center’s many ramshackle firewalls on old buildings, and brought vibrant images of urban creativity to humongous spaces that were formerly eyesores. Your tour guide tell you their vivid and colourful stories on this leisurely walking tour.

The tour ends by the Parliament, by showing the 'Shoes on the Danube Bank' conceived by film director Can Togay, sculpted by Gyula Pauer to honour the people during World War II.
