To start our tour, your private guide will pick you up from your accommodation or any other previously agreed location. All our tours are flexible and customized according to your requests so the itinerary and meeting point may vary according to your requests.

This exciting tour take you to breath-taking pieces of architecture in a style that started to flourish towards the end of the 1900s. In merely 20 years numerous masterpieces were constructed according to the various branches of the Secessionist Movement present in Europe. Viennese Secession, Jugendstil, French and Belgian Art Nouveau and finally for the first time, a real “National Style” was also born: the Hungarian Art Nouveau.

We  let you admire the Gresham Palace, the Hungarian National Treasury, and the Museum of Applied Arts and secret places that you could ever find in a guidebook. A coffee stop is also included in the tour at a marvellous Art Nouveau scene.

After the meet-up with your private tour guide and we will take you to the Museum of Applied Arts, the masterpiece of Ödön Lechner. The ornamentation displays the influence of Hungarian folk art as well as Asian and Persian elements. The façade and the roof are decorated with Zsolnay tiles.

Then we take tram to the Vaci Street in the city center where most of our famous Art Nouveau buildings can be found. We pop into the Gresham Palace to enjoy the luxurious atmosphere of the past and the present and see the best example of Art Nouveau architecture.

After a nice walk we reach Liberty Square to have a coffee break in the House of Hungarian Art Nouveau that even has a private collection of the time.

Finally we explore the square as all of the buildings are from the same period and will head to the Hungarian State Treasury and its unforgettable rooftop that is invisible from street level nevertheless we bring it close to you.
