During this 3,5 hour walk we will get a taste of both! Let us explore the great variety of the Budapest fashion and design scene. Where and how local designers create their masterpieces? What new trends can we observe in the Hungarian design sphere? Recycling and upcycling, pop-up stores, creative workshops where several designers work together in a common space. We will see them all!
Starting out from the classical and elegant haute couture creations we’ll arrive to the newest trends and the smaller, local brands. While wandering the streets of Pest mainly built from the second half of the 1800’s, we get a glimpse of the fashion of the golden age, the turn of the century both from a historical and an architectural point of view. Ladies and Gents let’s have fun!

Details
To start our tour, your private guide will pick you up from your accommodation or any other previously agreed location. All our tours are flexible and customized according to your requests so the itinerary and meeting point may vary according to your requests.
Our walk starts near the State Opera House on the Andrássy Boulevard, the so called Champs Elysées of Budapest, where we visit an exclusive haute couture salon. Here we meet the designer and we get a chance to see where the models actually come alive. Then we take a stroll at the historical part of Pest where we drop into a high fashion, multibrand showroom where we can see the creations of the most famous Hungarian fashion designers.
After having taken a break in a charming historical café, we proceed towards the bohemian part of the city discovering the more casual and extravagant smaller local brands. We pop into a contemporary creative project, a mixture of concept stores, event venues and art galleries that host up-and-coming talented designers.
