In order to undertand the Hungarian history, it is ideal to start at the Heroes' Square. There is chance to get out from the car and take stunning pictures at one of the main squares of the city. Going through the City Park, you have the chance to have a glimpse of the famous Széchenyi Thermal Baths. Then we head to the heart of the city on Andrássy Boulevard, the Hungarian Champs Elysées, being able to see the House of Terror, and the Opera House, too. We turn to the small ring where we see the Grand Synagogue, the Hungarian National Museum and then the Central Market Hall.
There is a great view from that side of the Danube on the flat Pest part. Once crossing the Liberty Bridge we get to the hilly Buda side ready to have a view to the Gellért Hill, the Elizabeth Bridge and the glorious Pest side. We can go up to the Gellért Hill to see the Citadel or even to the Castle Hill to admire the Fisherman's Bastion and the Matthias Church.
